Automobile production has higher and higher requirements for plastic parts, and the acceleration of automobile mold development and the continuous reduction of costs have forced automobile plastic parts manufacturers to continuously develop and adopt new production processes. Injection molding is the most important technology for producing automotive plastic parts. Due to the unique characteristics of automotive complex plastic parts, the design of injection molds for automotive parts needs to fully consider the following factors: drying of the material, new requirements for glass fiber reinforced materials, drive mode and mold clamping structure, etc.

First, when commonly used resin materials such as car bumpers and dashboards are modified resins such as modified PP and modified ABS, the resin materials have different hygroscopic properties. Before the resin material enters the screw preform of the injection molding machine, it must be dried or dehumidified with hot air.

Second, the current household plastic parts used in automobiles are basically non-glass fiber reinforced plastic products. Compared with the use of shredded glass fiber reinforced resin, the material and structure of the injection molding machine screw used to mold non-glass fiber reinforced plastic parts are very different. When carrying out automotive plastic injection molding, attention should be paid to the alloy material of the screw and the special heat treatment process to ensure its corrosion resistance and strength.

Third, because auto parts are different from conventional products, their surfaces are very complex, with uneven stress and uneven stress distribution. The design needs to consider the processing capacity, and the processing capacity of the injection molding machine is reflected in the clamping force and injection capacity. When the injection molding machine molds the product, the clamping force must be greater than the clamping force generated by the molding pressure, otherwise the clamping surface will separate and produce flash. In order to ensure reliable mold clamping, the clamping force in the process of automotive injection molding parts must be less than the rated clamping force of the injection molding machine. The maximum theoretical injection volume of the injection molding machine matches the tonnage of the injection molding machine.

The main repair methods of automotive bumper injection moulding plastic parts: welding, warm baking, thermal shaping, cloning, transplantation, dry grinding, nano grinding, crystal polishing, open flame shaping, filling, welding...

Types of auto plastic parts repair: overall, there are about four types: deformation: depression, distortion; cracking: cracks, fractures; scratches: scratches, scratches; bad holes: gaps, missing pieces.

Precautions for repairing automobile plastic parts: pay attention to the repair of automobile plastic parts. Some automobile plastic parts can be repaired, but some cannot be repaired. They should be replaced in time to avoid hidden dangers. Some plastic parts have serious scratches and should be replaced in time. Affect driving safety.
